Pubs and Inns B&B

The Isle of Wight has some great Pubs with B&B. Because the Isle Of Wight is an island catering for holiday makers there are more hotels and guest houses than pubs with accommodation, however the pubs and inns that have been transformed into Bed and Breakfasts is much more exciting.

Cowes Week

Cowes Week is traditionally held during the week beginning on the first Saturday after the last Tuesday in July (except where the tides make the traditional dates virtually unworkable). Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar. It is one of the UK’s longest running sporting events. Staging up to 40 daily races with over 1,000 boats it's the largest sailing regatta in the world.
Competitive sailing and social activities make Cowes Week a fusion of excitment. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. Over 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing from all over the World. If you decide to venture to Cowes week you'll enjoy parties and live entertainment. It is truly a unique atmosphere and genuinely a one-of-a-kind event. The Duke of York is the most popular place to stay.
