The Lighthorseman is a beautifully restored Victorian pub and B&B, including many of its original features, ideally situated for the many attractions of York. The origins of the Lighthorseman date back to the Crimean war and appears to have been used for some time as the Officer's mess. The building itself is Grade 2 listed, and includes the only Victorian bar remaining in York. The guest bedrooms have recently been regraded a 4 Star Inn
