A 16th Century traditional thatched inn, situated in the heart of the Blackmore Vale in rural Dorset. Frequented by Thomas Hardy and used as 'The Pure Drop Inn' in his most famous novel Tess of the D'urbervilles. We now have five brand new spacious luxury bedrooms opened in August 2008.
